| For the fifth year, Toronto Sports Alliance partners with Pride to staff the Central Beer Garden.
This partnership began during Pride 2001 as a fundraiser for Toronto Athletes going to the 2002 Gay Games in Sydney, Australia. The partnership has since continued.
This is a primary fundraising event for Toronto Sports Alliance, and for many of its member sports organizations.
The Central Beer Garden is located in the Church St parking lot south east of Maintland. The Beer Garden is open Friday June 24th from 6pm to 12am, Saturday June 25th from 12pm to 12am, and Sunday June 26th from 12pm to 11pm.
Toronto Sports Alliance will have an information booth at the Pride Community Fair on Sunday June 26th, and a float in the 2005 Edition of the Pride Parade.
Toronto Sports Alliance is an umbrella organization that:
- promotes recreational sport in the gay and lesbian community
- promotes collaboration, information and resource sharing
- organizes Team Toronto to participate in the Gay Games and the World Outgames.
Toronto Sports Alliance/Team Toronto is a member of the board of the Federation of Gay Games and of the Gay and Lesbian International Sports Association.
